ICED LATTES are available any way you want. While many get them au naturál with ZERO CARBS [when made with Half & Half], you can also add your favorite sugar-free flavor of our most excellent Stirling Syrups selections (cold pressed from Washington State) and still have a ZERO CARB Iced Latte!

Also depending on your choice of milk, using Almond Milk vs. regular or low fat  Dairy, you can stay carb safe. Almond Milk or Half and Half give you 1 gram of carbs per drink.  For comparison, Whole Milk, 2% and Skim are all relatively HIGH IN CARBS (10-15 grams of carbs). So stay way from them.

Are you looking for a great coffee shop in the Auburn and Opelika area to call home? Well give us a shot! (pun intended 🙂 ) We are located at 1619 Thomason Drive, Opelika, AL (Google Maps link) and open Monday thru Friday from 7 am until 4 pm.

A Short History

Toomer’s Coffee Shop has been a retail presence in the Auburn and Opelika specialty coffee market since 2004 when they opened their first coffee shop in downtown Opelika.

Since 2004 we have continued to grow and expand year over year into markets outside of Alabama.  Our coffees have been sold to clients in all fifty states plus Puerto Rico, Guam, Germany and to our troops and others serving in overseas.

Sandy is co-owner along with his wife Trish. He is also Roastmaster and in that role since 2006.

In 2013 we sold our original retail shop [contents] and temporarily licensed the right to use our name until 2016 when that license agreement expired.  Simultaneously beginning in 2013 on we focused on growing our wholesale audience and brands nationwide and in 2018 we purchased our own building in Opelika for our wholesale roasting operations with plans to re-open our retail coffee shop presence in that location eventually.

So here we are in the Fall of 2019 and that hope and dream is now a reality

We are now open Monday thru Friday 7 AM until 4 PM.  We are also planning an official Grand Opening and official Ribbon Cutting sometime in November.

Along with our wide assortment of infrared roasted/low acid coffees the new shop has all of the the favorite foods we were known for in Auburn, like our Baked Oatmeal, Scones and Cinnamon roles. Plus we are offering our Baked Oatmeal and Scones now as a dry mix you can take home and prepare!
