Retail Coffee Shop For Sale in Auburn, Alabama

After eight wonderful years of growth we are looking to sell the retail business operation of Toomer’s Coffee Roasters so we can focus on our wholesale coffee roasting operations.  Located immediately adjacent to the Auburn University campus we are “the” coffee shop hangout in Auburn for students and conveniently available to AU staff for catering and other needs.

Four years ago we added our own custom coffee roasting operation and our brand recognition is growing.

So why are we selling the retail shop?

First, after serving fourteen years in fulltime ministry with Mission Aviation Fellowship and now being out of it for five years we are sensing God’s leading back into some form of ministry and want to be available to Him.  The retail business by it’s very nature has a life of it’s own and we know we shouldn’t try to serve two masters.

Additionally, our real passion is that people have access to great coffee; one of life’s little pleasures. Therefore, we want to focus attention to growing our custom coffee roasting operation and wholesale coffee distribution separately.

Why Coffee Shops are nearly recession proof businesses and low risk

Just throwing up a sign that says COFFEE SHOP won’t cut it today.  You have to offer quality coffee (we roast our own), excellent value, good customer service,  product knowledge and people have to know you are happy they came in. Toomer”s Coffee has been around and grown for eight years and we believe that just about says it all.
